If it just won’t recognize the S Pen or what. But Samsung only wants you to use the S Pen Fold Edition or the S Pen Pro. Both of which you can buy from Samsung’s website here. The S Pen Fold Edition costs $49.99, while the S Pen Pro is $79.99 and comes with a case to store it.
The S Pen Pro does work with other devices, however
What’s unique about the S Pen Pro however, is that it does work with other devices. You can see what devices it works with here. And there is a switch built-in that you can use to switch devices with the S Pen Pro. Allowing you to move from your Galaxy Z Fold 3, to your Galaxy Tab S7 FE, or another tablet, smartphone or laptop. Which is pretty neat. So even though you’re spending nearly $80 on a S Pen here, it is going to work with other Samsung devices. Making it a pretty good buy if you already have a few Samsung devices from its ecosystem.
