What’s good about this feature is that it’s not exclusive to Snapchat+ users. Snapchat+ is the company’s premium subscription service that lets users try out new and experimental features before they reach the public. Also, there are several exclusive features that are only for Snapchat+ users. If you’re interested, it costs $3.99/ month.
Snapchat finally rolls out Director Mode
This is good news if you are an iOS user, but it’s a different story for Android users. The feature is available now for all iOS users while it’s only available to a limited number of Android users at the moment. It’s going to be rolling out to more Android users over the coming months. Director Mode gives Snapchat creators some neat tools to help them make more exciting snaps. For starters, this mode lets Snapchat users use the Green Screen mode. This will let you cut out the background and change it to whatever you want. It’s just a basic chroma key feature, so you’ll want to try and use a background that makes you stick out. With the Quick Edit feature, you’ll be able to cut and trim your videos in real-time. If you want these snaps to be faster or slower, you’ll actually be able to edit the speed of the snaps with Camera Speed. Last but not least, the feature brings Dual Camera mode. What this will do is use your main rear camera and your selfie camera at the same time. In order to check if you have the feature, search for Snapchat on your respective app store and see if there is an update button. If there is one, tap it, let the app update, and open the app to see if you have the new mode.
