The Motorola Edge 30 appears in real-life images
Considering that we have the ‘Plus’ and ‘Pro’ Edge phones, one would think that a vanilla one is coming, right? Well, that seems to be the case, if this leak is to be believed (and some previous ones). If you check out the gallery below the article, you’ll see the phone itself. What’s odd, though, is that this phone appeared on Idle Fish. That is the used good marketplace which is owned by Alibaba. These images not only show the device itself, but its bootloader is also shown on the screen, with a model number. The model number in question is ‘XT2203-1’, which actually matches previous leaks. That’s not the only detail revealed here, though. The bootloader also reveals that the device has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. On top of that, the ‘SM-KODIAK’ CPU is mentioned. This is a Snapdragon SoC, but we’re not sure which one. XDA Developers seem to think we’re looking at the Snapdragon 778G Plus.
A 144Hz display is expected, along with 30W charging
The device will offer a 144Hz refresh rate, and a Type-C USB port. A headphone jack won’t be included in the package. You can also see that the bezels will be quite thin, and that a centered display camera hole will be included. This device will also offer a flat display. Now, the Motorola Edge 30 specs did surface earlier this month. That does reveal more spec information about the device, in addition to what was mentioned here. It seems like the phone will also arrive in a 6GB RAM variant, and that its display will measure 6.55 inches (POLED panel). A 4,020mAh battery was also mentioned, and the same goes for 30W wired charging. Android 12 will come pre-installed on the phone, along with Motorola’s My UX skin. A 50-megapixel main camera is expected to be backed by a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera.
