At the core of this concept is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon brand. Which harnesses advanced mobile gaming features to provide an unparalleled gameplay experience. Qualcomm says this is a multi-year agreement between it and ESL, and it aims to make “high-quality mobile Esports experiences accessible to both new and veteran competitors.” In a way, the Snapdragon Pro Series ecosystem serves as a means for highlighting Qualcomm’s passion for mobile gaming. Utilizing devices powered by Snapdragon Elite Gaming technology for a “breakthrough experience” for players. Qualcomm also says this will be one of the world’s largest mobile Esports ecosystems.
The Snapdragon Pro Series will feature three competition tiers
Qualcomm doesn’t mention anything about dates, but it does note there will be three tiers of competitions. Starting with the Open tier, players from all around the globe will be able to enter for a chance to move onto the next tier. Placing high enough in the Open tier will afford the opportunity to move up to the Challenge tier. And finally, those who place in the Challenge tier will be able to move forward to the Masters tier. The Masters live event will include games from multiple genres and span the globe. The Pro Series will also feature competitions in North America, Europe, the Middle-East, China, North Africa, and Asia Pacific. The Pro Series will also incorporate custom brand integrations in both online and live events.
