This launcher is still in beta, though, so keep that in mind. Problems are still a possibility. Now, at first, Nothing Launcher was only made available for the Galaxy S21 and S22 series phones, the Pixel 5, and the Pixel 6 series.
The Nothing Launcher is now available for a lot more Android devices
Now, you can get this launcher up and running on any device that runs Android 11 or higher. Needless to say, that expands the pool of available devices drastically. In addition to expanding the availability of its launcher, Nothing also added some new features to the mix. The launcher app icon is now available on the home screen. Nothing also included a new ‘How to Set Up’ page when you first open this launcher. On top of that, you can now easily change to the Nothing wallpaper thanks to the pop-up box. The last change Nothing listed is the Dropbox link, which sits in this Launcher’s settings. What’s it for? Well, it allows you to download bonus wallpapers and ringtones for your device. Back when it first launched, one of our writers tested it for a bit, but he wasn’t impressed. You can read more about his experience right here. He also took quite a few pictures for you to check out.
Its rating in the Google Play Store is not exactly impressive
As of writing this article, the Nothing Launcher is holding a 2.7-star rating in the Google Play Store, after over 1,000 reviews. Needless to say, that’s not exactly impressive. People either expected way too much from this launcher, or they stumbled upon some issues with it. Issues are expected, as this is only a beta build, at the moment. Nothing will also add new features moving forward, so it may be a completely different experience by the time it reaches stable status. Nothing Launcher will be included on the company’s upcoming smartphone. Nothing’s first smartphone will launch this summer, so stay tuned for that.
