For the Galaxy Z Flip 3, we’re looking at a 6.7-inch internal display, and a 1.9-inch cover display. Which is similar to the original Galaxy Z Flip. It’ll also sport two 12-megapixel cameras, and then a 10-megapixel front-facing sensor.
These details get a bit more interesting on the Galaxy Z Fold 3
For the Galaxy Z Fold 3, we’re looking at a 7.6-inch internal display and a 6.2-inch cover display. That is also very similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 2 that was launched last fall. For cameras, it’ll sport three 12-megapixel sensors (likely wide, ultra-wide and telephoto), along with a 10-megapixel cover selfie camera and a 4-megapixel main selfie camera. What is interesting here is that there will be two optional S-Pens available for the Galaxy Z Fold 3. According to Evleaks’ tweet, a Pro and a Fold Edition S-Pen. We’ll have to wait for Unpacked to find out what exactly that means and what the difference is. Finally, Evleaks mentions that both devices will be IPX8 waterproof. Which we have seen before from a few other leakers, so that is not a big surprise. But these camera specs follow what Ice Universe said recently about these foldables having the best displays, but the worst cameras on a flagship device(s). Since these are only 12-megapixel sensors here. Of course, everything will be unveiled at Unpacked on August 11. And we can’t wait to see it all, and any other surprises that Samsung may have.
