Google introduced two new sets of Pixel wallpapers for October 2022
These wallpapers are considerably different than the landscape ones we got recently. The company launched sets for Hispanic Heritage Month 2022 and World Mental Health Day. Each of those sets includes three wallpapers. The Hispanic Heritage Month 2022 runs from September 15 to October 15. The three wallpapers you can see in the gallery below have been made by COVL. These wallpapers are quite artsy, in lack of a better description. The names of the wallpapers are La Cocina De Mi Abuela, Espiritu, and Conexion. The second set of October Pixel wallpapers are here to commemorate World Mental Health Day, which was yesterday. These wallpapers have been made by Burnt Toast. You will find three wallpapers below, named Rest, Listen, and Self-Love. These wallpapers have their very own style, and are very simplistic.
Google also announced its new experiment
In addition to announcing these two sets of wallpapers, Google also released its Arts & Culture Mind Lab experiment in collaboration with Johns Hopkins International Arts + Mind Lab, and Google’s Wellbeing Lab. This experiment has been announced to get a “moment of calm”. You can read more about it here. Do note that the wallpapers we’ve included in the galleries are compressed. You’ll need to visit the provided links to grab the originals, and also to read more about the wallpapers themselves. Each of them comes with its own description. These wallpapers are the complete opposite of the ones Google released before the weekend, but different people want different wallpapers, besides, these wallpapers have a deeper meaning. Google’s Curated Culture collection now consists of around 60 wallpapers, as it was launched last year and constantly updated with new sets.
