The global HONOR Magic4 Pro model doesn’t offer a Vegan Leather backplate
The Magic4 Pro is actually the same as the Chinese variant, but with global software. HONOR also won’t offer the Vegan Leather variant of the device outside of China, it seems. The HONOR Magic4 Pro is made out of metal and glass. It has a curved display, and really thin bezels. A pill-shaped display camera hole sits in the top-left corner of its display, while all of its physical buttons are placed on the right side. HONOR included a huge round camera island on the back of the device. Powerful camera hardware hides in there, by the way. The phone comes in Cyan and Black colors, both of which you can check out below.
A 120Hz LTPO display is included, and so is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC
The HONOR Magic4 Pro features a 6.81-inch 2848 x 1312 LTPO OLED display. That is a 120Hz panel with an adaptive refresh rate, which gets quite bright at 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 fuels this smartphone, while HONOR included 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in the device. Do note that a 12GB RAM model was launched in China, but that variant won’t be available globally.
The phone supports 100W, both wired and wireless
A 4,600mAh battery is also included here, and the device supports 100W wired and 100W wireless charging. You will need a 125W charger in order to utilize 100W wireless charging, though. Huawei’s 100W charger will provide you with 80W wireless charging, presuming you have the company’s wireless charging stand, of course. Reverse wireless charging is also supported, as is reverse wired charging. The phone is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, while it comes with two SIM card slots. Stereo speakers are also included, while an audio jack is not. Android 12 comes pre-installed, with HONOR’s Magic UI 6 on top of it. Yes, Google Services are included.
HONOR included truly powerful camera hardware here
On the back of the phone, you’ll find a 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture, 1.0um pixel size, 23mm lens, multi-directional PDAF, Laser AF). A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera (f/2.2 aperture, 122-degree FoV) is also included, as is a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (0.7um pixel size, OIS, PDAF, 90mm lens, f/3.5 aperture, 3.5x optical zoom). HONOR also placed a ToF 3D sensor on the back for depth perception. A 12-megapixel camera (f/2.4 aperture, 1.22um pixel size, 100-degree ultrawide lens) sits on the front, alongside the ToF 3D sensor. That sensor is being used for depth perception and advanced biometrics.
Compelling pre-order incentives are included
If you do decide to pre-order the device, you’ll get a pre-order bundle worth £324. It will include the HONOR Watch GS 3 Ocean Blue, a wireless charging dock, and a case for the Magic4 Pro.
