Sumeru City, the next major city location, is nestled in the dense rainforest area, and will introduce players to a wide array of new characters and groups. Including the Akademiya, a prestigious historical institution. In addition to Sumeru City players will get to visit Port Ormos. As most players will know, exploring the new areas in this game are some of the most exciting moments. But the new patch has a whole lot more to offer.
Genshin Impact patch 3.0 introduces the seventh element
Much of the world of Genshin Impact revolves around seven different elements. These elements are applied to a great many things including puzzles, boss and enemy mechanics, and the abilities of playable characters. With patch 3.0, Genshin Impact players will get to finally experience the game’s seventh and final element – Dendro. With this new element, players can trigger a trio of reactions when pairing Dendro with Pyro, Hydro, or Electro abilities – Burning, Bloom, and Catalyze. As Dendro will be available as a playable element for the first time in this patch, there will be three ways (initially) to use it in combat. Naturally one of those ways is to unlock the Dendro ability with the Traveler character. To unlock this ability, players will need to visit the Statue of The Seven in Sumeru. However, there will also be two Dendro characters available. The first is Tighnari, a five-star archer with an ability to deal damage over multiple phases with his charged attack and elemental burst. The second is Tighnari’s pupil Collei, a four-star archer. Both Tighnari and Collei will be available in wish events alongside Zhongli in the first half of the update. But Collei will also be available for free for those who complete the Graven Innocence. This will be the main seasonal event for patch 3.0 Genshin Impact patch 3.0 launches on August 24, and will be playable on PS4, PS5, Android, iOS, and PC.
