Not least of all, this particular handset ships in Electric Blue with a massive 6.82-inch scratch-resistant display. And that’s supplemented by a full battery of entertainment features delivered via Android 11 at launch, according to AT&T. Driven, at least in part, by its octa-core chipset. The processor itself is backed up by 64GB of internal storage. Expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. In terms of battery life, the AT&T RADIANT Max 5G is equipped with a 4,750mAh capacity battery that can deliver up to two days of use. And charging brings both standard fast-charging and wireless charging. Finally, for cameras, there are no fewer than five on the AT&T RADIANT Max 5G. And those are AI-enhanced, to boot, led by a 48-megapixel snapper with an additional 118-degree ultra-wide lens. Super-macro and night mode features are part of that bundle too. While at the front, users will find a 13-megapixel selfie snapper with portrait and beauty modes.
Why is this phone important for consumers?
AT&T also indicates that this phone will have a fingerprint reader. Making it easily one of the most affordable phones on the market to feature one. But what makes AT&T RADIANT Max 5G stand out is its price and networking. 5G networking typically makes smartphones much more expensive, given how complex the networks are. Just for starters. But, at under $200, this would already be one of the least expensive 5G handsets around. That’s on AT&T PREPAID or elsewhere. But new customers on AT&T PREPAID can pick this handset up for under $100. That’s with an Unlimited Plan and auto pay enabled. Existing customers will be able to pick it up for just $179.99. So both subscriber groups are getting a great deal here for what this phone is. At least on paper.
When is AT&T RADIANT Max 5G available to buy?
As for when this handset launches, AT&T says that will be much sooner than later. In fact, it will become available starting on September 10.
