The Inspire 3 brings a lot of Fitbit’s best features to the table. Such as all-day heart rate tracking and the ever-popular Active Zone Minutes. While adding the ability to measure blood oxygen saturation. A first for the Inspire line. It also incorporates stress management. Using guided breathing sessions, the Inspire 3 can help you take a step back from your day and slow things down. Assisting you with when to inhale and exhale for short bursts of time. It can then connect that data to the Fitbit app on your phone and give a stress management score. That way you get a snapshot of the day’s overall stress management. Allowing you to pinpoint when you were less calm and try to adjust things accordingly the following day.
Fitbit added a brighter display and added a splash of color
One of the more notable improvements, at least that you can physically see, is the Inspire 3’s new display. It’s brighter than on the Inspire 2 and it replaces the monochrome visuals with a vivid AMOLED color display. This was an excellent move for a couple reasons. First, it adds a splash of color and that in turn can add some vibrance to your day. Something like adding colors to a screen on a device like this may seems small, but it’s visually appealing. And that can have an overall positive impact on your mood throughout the course of your day. Even if it’s minor. Second, the colors can make it easier to see in brighter situations. Especially because it’s AMOLED. But the display isn’t the only improvement here. The battery life has also been extended so the tracker lasts longer than before on a single charge. You can now get up to 10 days out of it. Which means you can sleep, get up, and walk around with it around your wrist for close to two weeks before needing to juice the battery back up to 100%. We absolutely love the battery life increase. Because charging things more often is a huge pain. More so because of the amount of devices we have to charge these days. Between wireless keyboards, wireless headsets, phones, trackers, watches, earbuds and more, the last thing we need is another device that has to be charged every other day. Think of the Inspire 3 as a “set it and forget it” type of tracker. Amidst all that, the Inspire 3 is also $99. So you get a feature-packed tracker for under $100. What’s not to love about that? This is why we gave the Inspire 3 the award for the best fitness tracker of 2022.
